Asianet, the first Malayalam satellite TV channel, is all set to launch an exclusive round the clock movie channel, ‘Asianet Movies’, on July 15, 2012. Confirming the news to exchange4media, an Asianet Communication spokesperson said, “Movies is something which has a great impact all over the country. There is a huge space in the Kerala market for Malayalam movies. Movies are always fascinating and a survey that we had carried out showed that there is great demand for regional movies.” Asianet Movies will air a mix of super hit movies, classic movies and evergreen movies in addition to the most recent films.
